"Thy Kingdom Come"
Our Vision: We believe that not only is world peace likely in the coming years but that it is an absolute certainty and may occur in the lifetime of many who are reading this. For over 2000 years Christians have been waiting for Jesus to return in person to earth and usher in the kingdom of God. Like of old, many are still unable to distinguish between the human personality of Jesus and the eternal Christ which has been working through all the great prophets throughout time and had its highest expression in Christ Jesus. This same Christ is the real Self of each and every one of us, and it is through this sublime realization that the kingdom of God will become established on earth, and the words of the Lord's Prayer -- Thy Kingdom come . . . On Earth as it is in Heaven -- will become reality. It is through the lofty heights of this realization that the real spiritual universe will become visible to us and we will "meet Him in the air" in our upward voyage of self-discovery
Jesus said, "If those who lead you say to you, 'look, the Kingdom is in the sky,' then the birds will arrive there before you! If they say to you, 'It is in the sea,' then the fish will arrive before you! . . . Rather, the Kingdom is inside you, and it is outside of you. When we come to know ourselves, then we will be known, and will realize that we are the sons of the living Father. But if we don't take that position in our thinking, we will not know what God has created us to be and who we really are, then will dwell in poverty, and it is us, who are that poverty."
His disciples said to him, "When will . . . the new world come?" He said to them, "What you look forward to has already come, but you do not recognize it." . . . His disciples said to him, "When will the Kingdom come?" (Jesus said,) "It will not come by waiting for it. It will not be a matter of saying 'Here it is' or 'There it is'. Rather, the Kingdom of the Father is within you; in your spiritual being, and is also spread out upon earth, and men do not see it. . . . Let him who seeks continue seeking until he finds. When he finds, he will become troubled. When he becomes troubled, he will be astonished, and he will rule over all things."
That "Kingdom", then, symbolizes a state of transformed consciousness, and this transformation is slowly but surely taking place on earth now.
"Ye shall know the Truth and the Truth Shall make you free" said the Christ, and when you discover the Truth it then becomes your duty and privilege to help bring your brothers and sisters into the knowledge of Truth also, and thereby the world will be transformed by the renewal of our minds, and we will individually and collectively "have that Mind in us that was also in Christ Jesus," for the Mind of Christ is the cornerstone of creation.
