Success

Updated: Feb 13, 2019

Nothing just happens. Success has to be worked at. Equally, failure has to be worked at. It takes just as much effort in being a success as it is being a failure. What determines whether you succeed or fail, is where that effort is directed or applied; to what, and to where universal principles are generated by you. Creflo Dollar always says “nothing just happens!” Everything happens because something caused it to

happen. The law of cause and effect not only applies to success, but equally applies to failure.

Most of us would agree that such statements make sense when it comes to prosperity and success. But cause and effect apply to poverty and failure as well. Genesis 2:16, 17 states, “And the Lord God commanded the man saying, “Of every tree (source that bears fruit) of the garden you may freely eat. But of the tree of the knowledge (laws, ways) of good and evil, you may not eat of it: for in the day that you eat thereof (engage the principles) you shall surely die” (death, failure).

The person that is a failure also did something extraordinary or special to be in that situation. They worked very hard at becoming and remaining failures (because of mindset; wrong programming; negative experiences). It takes effort to be and remain a failure; have a subconscious dream of failure, see yourself a failure, not plan, avoid working on anything worthwhile every day, and fold your hands to opportunities. Instead, take advantage of them when they come your way! Plan your work and work your plan, overcome obstacles, keep yourself motivated in the face of temporary defeat.

It takes effort to be successful. You have to dream of success, see yourself a success. Proverbs 29:18 states, “Where there is no vision, the people perish.” Habakkuk 2:2 declares, “And the Lord answered me and said, ‘Write the vision and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak and not lie. Though it tarry (delay, linger), wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry (not be late).’” God does not forget the promises, He prepares us for them.

Do not be a hearer only. Be a doer. Merely reading and claiming won’t help you achieve your dreams. Action will drop it into your heart and will bring your dreams to reality. Nothing just happens. But with your step of faith, and the help of The Holy Spirit, it will happen.

Everyone can be successful. If you want to be something, just go out there and do it; Philippians 4:13 states, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” All of our weaknesses are swallowed up in The Lord Jesus Christ! No more excuses, no more reasons why it isn’t possible. The only way to find out is to go out there and try! And even if you don’t succeed, you can say you went for it anyway, and you’ll be a better person for it Proverbs 4:7, 8 states, “Wisdom is the principal (the beginning, main, most important) thing; therefore get wisdom, and with all your getting, get understanding. Exalt her, and she shall promote you; she shall bring you in honor (promote you), when you embrace her.” Life is short and it is up to you to make something of it. No one else can change your life, only you with obedience to, and the guidance and advice of the Holy Spirit, your Counselor!

Be on a trek to another mind, Philippians 2:5, “Let this Mind (essential nature, seat of consciousness) be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus.” Colossians 1:27b states, “For it is Christ in you, the hope of glory.” And Christ flowing out of you is the Glory. “For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. And you are complete (filled up, supplied) in Him, which is the head of all principality and power.” Colossians 2:9, 10.

Duet 30:19 declares, “I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your seed may live.” Jesus has made the way, for John 14:6 declares, “And Jesus said unto him, ‘I am the Way, the Truth and the Life (the example, of the potential I have placed within you); no man comes to the Father but by me.”

It’s time for us to be on our way. It’s there waiting for you! Move on to another world of experience! Reach out into the heavenly places where all things are possible! It is there waiting for you! But as always, the choice is yours.
