Image and Likeness
Updated: Feb 13, 2019
In Gen. 1:26, God said: “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness;” (the image and likeness of life, love, truth and let us manifest and express ourselves in and through man).
In Spirit, you are a radiant being of peace, joy and the exuberant expression of life. Our precious Master said, “I have come that you may have life, and have it to the fullest”. John 10:10. We must submit to His life-giving ordinances and commandments in order to experience our true nature through the transforming power of His Holy Spirit and His life-giving Word.
Titus 3:5 states: “…not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us by the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Ghost”. Jesus also told Nicodemus in John 3:5, “Truly, truly I say unto you, except a man be born of water (washing of regeneration), and of the spirit (renewing of the Holy Ghost), he cannot enter (see, perceive, understand, operate in the principles of) the Kingdom of God.”
“For the law (principles, governing factors, ways, awareness) of the Spirit of Life which is in Jesus Christ, has made us free from the law (enactment, mind or thought) of sin and death”. Romans 8:2 “To be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace”…Romans 8:6
Can we attain to this wonderful place in God simply by “quoting the Word?” Mere words, ideas, affirmations are only tools of the mind; you cannot convince yourself; it must come from the heart; not the head.the Holy Spirit within us must teach us. Then you will know the revelation truth of these precious promises. They come by consecration and dedication. We must ask the Master to open our spiritual eye of understanding, by deep prayer and meditation in order to have the power to overcome!
For example, one who is training in the Martial Arts does not accomplish or attain to anything by just reading a book or stating that he has it. It takes several years of discipline, commitment and practice under a “master” to perfect one level, in order to go on to the next. Too many believers today are claiming that they have attained to God’s promises “by faith”, but unfortunately are “casual inquirers” to His decrees and His ways. They depend on the preacher behind the pulpit to do it all and rely on man rather than God. They are not sitting under the Master by spending time in reading the Logos Word, so that they can become the Rhema Word.
You see precious child of God, we must become all that He said that we are created to be. Ephesians 3:19 states: “…to know the love of Christ, which passes (human) knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God”. Also, in chapter 4:13, “…till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the (spiritual) knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ”. This is God’s plan for the ages. It always has been.
We’re in a new day with the Lord! This is the 7th Day of creation, and the 3rd Day in which the resurrection power of Jesus Christ will be manifested in and through those who are making themselves ready! He said, “If you love Me, keep My commandments.” John 14:15. Live by them, study them, ask for revelation of them, become them!
God is speaking some wonderful prophetic things to this ministry about the times and events that are about to take place on the earth. Especially in and to the precious people of God!
This is a time to rejoice in the Lord! True revival is at hand! The blessings of God are about to be poured out on those who are serious about their walk; are tired of religion and hunger for a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ!
We wish for all, God’s perfect will, inner peace, and eternal life through Jesus Christ, the precious Son of the Living God!
