Genesis; The Beginning; Origin: The Law of Like Begetting Like

Updated: Feb 13, 2019

Paul said in Romans 7:22, “For I delight in the law of God after the inward man.”

The following is a spiritual look at Genesis 1:1–10.

In creative principle, before the inception of time and space, where all things exist in the state of potential from the invisible to the visible, in the creative power of the Infinite Intelligence we call God, all things are formed, through process, from the celestial to the terrestrial; the unseen and the manifestation of it into matter. Elohim (The Christ), the plurality of El Elyon (the Most High God, forms through process, the celestial to the terrestrial; the unseen and the manifestation of it into matter.

And that which was selected and drawn out to be created, was in confusion within itself; desolate and full of vanity. And misery, death and destruction, sorrow and wickedness was manifested from the depths of the soul, with no knowledge of spiritual reality or purpose which was only causing death, and so ignorance and self will was the mindset and lifestyle manifested from the soul; the unregenerate soul, according to its own experience, perception and understanding. This was our state and condition of mind because our perception and understanding created by our experiences in life as we knew it. The inspired writings in the book of Jeremiah 4:22, 23 states: "For my people is foolish, they have not known me; they are sottish children, and they have none understanding: they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge. I beheld the earth and lo, it was without form and void; and the heavens, they had no light." so was the condition of the heart of the human being. Since we do not know or understand this Higher Power (God), we are humanly programmed to do evil (which also includes an experience of struggle and strife), but to do that which is good (which includes happiness, peace and prosperity in very area) we have no concept, therefore the inward void continues because of not being illuminated with the reality of Truth.

And the Divine idea and expression (the Word) was in the mind of God and He made known His thought. Genesis 1: 3 “And God said, ‘Light be!’, and Light is”. For every spiritual thought or Spirit Word is Christ manifested. He is the Word, for an idea or thought becomes a word when it is expressed to become known for a purpose and to create or accomplish something. Christ is the manifestation; Christ is pure Light; and light is intense vibration, energy, motion and activity which manifest wholeness and Truth. Christ is God in action, the generating Spirit that produces energy, that produces life, (I Corinthians 1; 2, 3: “Christ the power of God and the Wisdom of God.” The book of Psalms 110:4 states: "Unto the upright there arises light in the darkness; He is gracious and full of compassion and righteous." Things take form from the essence of His thoughts. Christ is the creative substance God took out of Himself (spiritual thought) to form everything. The Christ is the only begotten, the only born of God. God has only one Son and we are in Him and now because of His love for you and I, the crucifixion of Jesus of Nazareth (the Christ in human flesh), and because of the power of the 3rd Day resurrection that shook the ‘earth’, we are one with Him, for in I Corinthians 6:1 it is stated: "But he that is joined to the Lord is one spirit."

And God considered the light a good thing; beautiful, joyful, pleasant and prosperous; and divided the lower thought and perception of self, vanity and ignorance from the higher thought of Divinity and Godliness and thus began the expansion of consciousness. The glory of the terrestrial is one, but the glory of the celestial is yet another, I Corinthians 15:40 states “There are also celestial bodies and bodies terrestrial; but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.”

Hebrews 4:12 states: “For the Word of God (Mind of Christ; Spirit of Truth) is quick and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” Christ’s thoughts bring truth and life and are powerful and work like a sword that reaches and cuts through to the very core of a matter that brings correction and an end to the matter (judgment), separating all the elements into their proper places; whether they be physical, emotional, or spiritual. Thus, God brings it forth one step closer to His Divine perfection, for He had revealed Himself in Truth there.

And God called the light Day (the period of inspiration and illumination) and darkness He called Night (the period of ignorance, waiting for undisclosed wisdom and knowledge to be revealed). Day and Night are not separate, nor or they opposites, but Truth disclosing itself in degrees. Psalms 139: 12 states "Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee." Psalms 18:11 states "He made darkness (hidden things, mysteries) His secret place; His pavilion round about Him were dark waters and thick clouds of the skies."

The 'expansion' of consciousness above the 'firmament' is Heaven; the Mind of God; the Kingdom, where all things are possible. The Earth is soul; the intellect where desire and emotion is born from. Proverbs 4:23 states "Keep your heart (soul) with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life" You create your own environment by what emanates from the soul; who, what and how you are. Everything we can possibly experience begins and ends with perception and awareness. The human character or personality is the manifestation of the consciousness of the individual being, created, developed and programmed by circumstances, attitudes, etc... Individual existence is the continuous unfolding of experience from within your own being. Be careful for what you desire in life, because the soul longs to do something about what it is, (all the silent powers which are laid up in the center of the soul), in order that it might know itself in its own experience. Desire is pure potential seeking its own manifestation Proverbs 13:12b declares “but when desire cometh, it is a tree of life.”

Genesis 1:10 says, "And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called He Seas; and God saw that it was good." God sees all things one way; good; the way it was originally created. Man has, through the centuries and because of the 'fall' (the distortion of consciousness), man has adulterated and perverted the creation. But the inspired scriptures say in Galatians 6:7 & 8, "Be not deceived; God is not mocked; for whatsoever a man sows that shall he also reap.” “For he that sows to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that sows to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.” What he sows shall return to the womb from which it was birthed; this is a law in the spiral in the circle of the universe). Also Ecclesiastes 3:14 states this: "I know that, whatsoever God does, it shall be forever; nothing can be put to it, nor anything taken from it; and God does it that men should reverence before Him. That which has been is now, and that which is to be has already been; and God requires that which is past." Believe it; it is the Divine law of the universe! It is settled forever; it will never change.

Whether we realize it, or even believe it; we are all on a Sacred Journey. We don't see the mysteries of this corporeal life because we are entertained and mesmerized by the obvious. So life comes to us in parables; similitude’s, examples. We can't see the truth in each situation because of all the distraction of the lower existence; the material life, the lower consciousness, the polluted human soul. This is also known as 'the self', the ego; me and what I want.

The sacred journey we are continuously on is full of mysteries. Each predicament and situation actually presents itself as a lesson in true reality and because of our spiritual, 'attention deficit disorder', we can’t see this. We, through the awakening of our spiritual side through an intimate relationship with the Creator of all things should be able to experience this and function in it as the 'natural' order of things. This should be the 'normal' state of existence. You, in reality, are a spiritual being, having a human experience, in a corporeal body. Who and what you really are is inside. In understanding and acceptance of this fact, everything would change; how you perceive every situation and circumstance, how you see others, and even how you see yourself.

We are special; all of us, for we are sacred people. That’s why we build monuments to those who have exited the body, passed on from this life and have resurrected to the next. We do this for a memorial and to honor them as being a part of our existence. Instead of trying to dominate, intimidate and hating one another, we should treat one another with honor and respect; no matter whom we are, or where we come from. This is the way things should be and were always meant to be.

The apostle Paul described all this as the restoration of all things. It’s coming child of the Most High God, and there is nothing that can stop it! It must come back around before man completely destroys it. This world is falling under the weight of its own cruelty! Mankind must wake up and look around, and see the reality of what is happening! It will take a common cause for mankind to come together and The Almighty knows how to do it! There are signs in the heavens and great warnings in the earth! This is a time of rebirth! The anguish of travail is all around us! The greatest days, since the times on earth of Jesus the Christ are upon us! Great things are in store, but this is a time of consecration and dedication for we must prepare ourselves to meet it! Don't believe this? Look around you; believe that!
