DNA of God

DNA of God

DNA in the human body constitutes the chromosomes of living cells. It determines individual heredity characteristics, such as features and attributes. You might say, your image and likeness.

The bible clearly states in Genesis (the book of beginning, origin) that God created man in His Image and Likeness. So, this would mean that we have His “DNA”, if you will. It would be blasphemy to believe that our Father, who is perfect in every way, would ever fail at anything.

The Christian existence is not merely just in going to church, being a part of a particular doctrine, or religion at its best. It is in a simple, but deep profound truth, that it is in relationship. How you relate to Christ and how He relates to you from day to day. After all, we are related to Him are we not? We have the same Father, we’re of the same family, the same house of God; so, ours is a story of success; not failure. The Son of God cannot fail. We must give up the idea of failure. We must see them as opportunities for learning; for growth. Failure is in the human mind, but and according to Colossians 1:29 we’re told, “Let this Mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus…”. We’re all coded for success in every situation and circumstance of life.

The bible tells us that “We are in Christ and Christ is in God.”, therefore it would only stand to reason that we have what the Father gave Jesus. The Son of God is Holy Ground. The Son of God is Sacred Ground. To put Him down is blasphemy. Therefore, to put ourselves down is also blasphemy in a way. Hebrews 6:4-6 says that we become powerless, weak and incapable after we have experienced success in the moment of an overcoming situation, that if we reconsider, think differently, or do not see the coming situation as an opportunity for the same results, we crucify the Son of God afresh and put Him to an open shame. We have dishonored Him, in our doubt and unbelief and our double-mindedness. For without seeing all situations through the eyes of faith, it is impossible to please God.

In John 3, when Nicodemus came to Jesus, remember when Jesus spoke the powerful, transforming words, “You must be born again…” He was telling Nicodemus that ‘you must be procreated, reproduced as from the first, as in the beginning’. He was saying that we must be regenerated to our original state of mind, the way we were created to be. We must be birthed into the Holy present, the Eternal now, so that we can be fully present in every moment. We must have the Mind of Christ and see every situation from the point of potential, to create solutions, advancement and improvement in all areas. ‘Adverse’ situations are opportunities to bring out our potential. These are procedures for the journey. Your greatest trial can be your greatest triumph. For in it you can make a statement of who you are, who you are not, and who you are made to be. Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith in every situation, if we see through His eyes from the beginning of it to the end. Then, we must be birthed into the next opportunity to grow in Him, so that the next state of grace and level of faith can come to its fulness, to become wisdom an understanding. This is all God dealing with our thinking. All the power God has given you is in our thinking.

We can say we’re a new creation, but if we don’t take that position in our thinking, in our mentality, its just another doctrine. But if we can have it in the center of our thinking, we’re no longer alienated from the Life of God. We no longer see God as someone just up in heaven somewhere, we realize that in Him we live and move and gave our be-ing. Wherever you are in God (within our mental disposition), is your God experience. Up to this point, this moment, is all you know of who and how God is. Its where you are in your God experience. God has already finished the work; we must take the journey to find it.

Remember beloved, you are His idea, His thought of Love, wrapped in flesh. We must recognize the good that we have accomplished. We must acknowledge ourselves for the strides we have made in Him We must realize that we are coded to be successful in every endeavor.

Our beloved Savior said in Matthew 6:27 “Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto your stature?” According to Colossians 2:10, “…you are complete in Him” He also said in Matthew 6:33, to seek first to understand our oneness with God, then all these things will be added to our lives; blessing of health, peace, prosperity and joy.

But remember beloved, that it is all for His Glory and Honor. Its not how you’re doing something that empowers you, it why you’re doing it. Honor God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength. Honor your neighbor. Honor yourself.

The loving story of Jesus is the story of our own spiritual journey. It begins by honoring the Son of God; by recognizing who He is and where He lives; in you dear soul.

This precious world we live in is not one of gentleness and peace. Honor the Son of God so that He may rule from His Throne within us and stand forth brilliantly in our minds and in our lives, so that our world may individually and collectively, in the finality of all things, manifest as His.

May the Living Christ shower your life with the blessing of His Majesty, His Power and Glory, now and forever more. Amen
